Nearly 80 people, including Devizes MP Claire Perry, learned how to use a defibrillator at a training session in Coronation Hall, East Grafton.
Five defibrillators, to be used when someone has a heart attack, have been provided across the parish under a scheme backed by the charity Community Heartbeat Trust.
On February 5 Claire Perry joined villagers being shown how to use the machines by Richard Schofield from the trust.
Defibrillators are in place at the Coronation Hall, Lower Farm yard in Wexcombe, Manor House Farm at Wexcombe and in the old red telephone kiosk in Wilton. A fifth is to be installed in West Grafton.
The scheme also sells air horns at £10 which villagers can use to summon help in the event of someone collapsing with cardiac arrest.
