An Erlestoke jail prisoner escaped on a tractor but was caught just 20 minutes into his getaway after being spotted by a former member of staff.
The inmate used the prison's own tractor to make his getaway but was spotted by the ex-staff memeber on the A361.
The escapee stopped to his change clothes but then set off again as police gave chase across a golf course and finally cornered the vehicle.
The man was taken to Melksham police station at Semington.
