THE jury in Jamie Cox’s assault case trial was sent home for the weekend after failing to reach a unanimous verdict.
The boxer, 23, of Buckthorn Drive, Woodhall Park, admits punching Justin Orchard, but denies any attack on former soldier Andrew Lock outside The Spot bar in Old Town.
The eight men and three women of the jury failed to agree a decision yesterday afternoon. They will now come back to consider their verdict at Swindon Crown Court on Monday.
