North Wilts Golf Club at Bishops Cannings has been congratulated for its work in restoring wildlife habitat around the course.
A report on the work the club has done in protecting species of wild plants, birds, insects and other fauna has been posted on the web by Wiltshire Wildlife Trust.
It can be read at www.northwiltsgolf.com North Wilts golf course, which is not far from the trust’s own wildlife reserve at Morgan’s Hill, is home to many species of plants which are classified as rare or threatened, not only in Wiltshire but also globally.
