A couple have been arrested on suspicion of dealing class A and B drugs following a raid on their Chippenham home on Friday.
Four police officers and a fire arms unit targeted the town centre home at around 9.15am, and found a large amount of Class A and B controlled drugs.
Upon searching the home, officers also found a large quantity of controlled medication similar to Viagra.
A 45-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman were arrested at the scene, and have been bailed pending further inquiries.
Further items confiscated during the raid led officers to search several other houses in Chippenham, leading to the discovery of a small cannabis factory.
At this address around a dozen plants and a lighting set-up were seized.
Acting police sergeant Alan Wilkinson said: “I am confident these seizures have made an impact on the supply of drugs locally, and believe this will send a message to anyone intent on selling drugs that Chippenham police are committed to taking action against them.
“There is often a clear link between drug misuse and acquisitive crime and we want the community to feel safe, satisfied and confident that their police are working hard to tackle drug use and the criminality surrounding it.
Anyone with information on drug dealing can contact Wiltshire Police on 0845 4087000 or anonymously on Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
