The annual Dolls House Fair in Marlborough, which attracts visitors from as far away as Bristol and Gloucester, was a great success, said David Warren who co-organises it with Wendy Hobday under the name of Wendy’s World.
It was held at the leisure centre on Sunday October 25 and, although it was forced to close early when the centre had to be cleared when a man using the health suite suffered a heart attack, it was nevertheless a huge success, said Mr Warren.
“It went extremely well,” he said. “We had a very good turn out as usual of people of all ages ranging from children to OAPs. Several of our exhibitors had an exceptionally good day’s trading.”
The fair had about 30 exhibitors selling everything from completed dolls houses to kits and an enormous variety of miniature furniture and fittings.
