Wiltshire Air Ambulance paramedic Richard Miller is to received a chief officer's commendation for his dedication.
Mr Miller is the clinical team leader on the Wiltshire Air Ambulance that doubles up as the Wiltshire Police helicopter.
He has worked on the air ambulance for seven years.
Last November he hosted a visit of Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance in Devizes where he introduced her to the staff and explained the equipment on board the helicopter.
Mr Miller is one of dozens of staff and volunteers who will receive awards on Tuesday from Anthony Marsh, the interim chief executive of the Great Western Ambulance Service.
