Schoolboy Toby Partridge had his dreams come true when he got to play on stage with indie band The Fratellis.
Toby, 13, a pupil at Abbeyfield School, Chippenham, got to play drums with the chart-topping band as they performed at the Oasis leisure centre in Swindon earlier this month after his mum Debbi e-mailed the band on the off chance.
She said: “Toby absolutely loves any type of music and I thought this would be like a dream for him so I thought why not.
“I e-mailed the tour manager and the band themselves and they were lovely. So during a sound check Toby got on stage and just jammed with them.
“We are a very musical family and I think this was the best thing that Toby could ever have hoped for.”
Toby, of Pewsham, Chippenham, can play the piano, clarinet and drums, despite never having had a music lesson in his life.
Mrs Partridge said: “He has an amazing ability to pick up any instrument and just play it.”
