Could Billie be new doctor?

Comments (0)New mum Billie Piper could well be the next Doctor Who, according to the outgoing Tardis key holder.
Last week David Tennant announced he is to stand down from his role as the Doctor in the BBC’s long-running science-fiction programme.
When asked on the BBC if his former assistant Billie, who hails from Swindon, could step up and become the Doctor, he said: “Why not?
"It's one of those parts that any actor could bring something valid to, because it can be anything and it's a sort of blank canvas every time.
“The fact is that the difference is a virtue with each Doctor, it's not like you’re casting Tarzan where you've got to have somebody who looks good in a loin cloth.”
