High street giant Woolworths face charges of selling knives to children.

Representatives of the multi million pound company appeared at Chippenham Magistrates Court today and denied three charges of selling an offensive weapon to a person under 18.

Wiltshire County Council brought the charges against the chain store's branches in Chippenham, Trowbridge and Salisbury.

Magistrates adjourned the case until October.
