GIRLS Aloud, The levellers and UB40 will no longer perform at Bowood next month after a mass of cancellations were announced.
Three concerts, scheduled for the weekend of 12 to 14 of September at the house and gardens near Calne, have been cancelled by event organisers and promoters, Eastern Breeze.
The news follows the cancellation of Soul Sunday and the Proms last weekend, which left hundreds of fans feeling blue.
In total, six of the planned concerts that were set to turn Bowood into a top entertainment venue, have now been cancelled.
General Manager of Visitor Enterprises at Bowood James Stewart, said: "The decision to cancel the three concerts at which the Levellers, UB40 and Girls Aloud were to appear at Bowood is sadly due to circumstances beyond our control.
"We feel extremely sorry for concert goers who were planning to visit Bowood over this September weekend and share their disappointment."
Bowood advises that any enquiries and ticket refund requests should be directed directly to Eastern Breeze on 0870 842 2230.
Any tickets purchased from the House & Gardens Kiosk at Bowood should be returned to the kiosk for a refund.
