KT Tunstall warmed up for her appearance tonight at the Rose Tree Jam at Bowood House with an excellent set at Glastonbury yesterday afternoon.
The weather forecast for tonight is showers and breezes but organiser James Walden is still expecting at least 5,000 people.
"It should be a great evening," he said. Also playing tonight are Athlete, Ben's Brother, Royworld, Sam Isaac and The Wallbirds.
Tickets are still available at the gate for £35.
Here is a review of KT Tunstal's set on the Pyramid Stage yesterday afternoon, courtesy of the official Glastonbury site, by Sarah Jane Pusey.
Fresh from last night's backstage warm-up gig, KT Tunstall took to the stage for an uplifting Friday afternoon performance. Having previously played at the top of the bill at the Acoustic tent last year, Tunstall traded an intimate evening environment for the buzz of the masses at the Pyramid stage.
Mixing banter and random facts between songs from her second album, Drastic Fantastic, Tunstall performed with gusto, clearly eager to be back at this years Festival. Crowds were invited to join in with a mass body popping session led by Tunstall herself, before launching into a powerful rendition of Hold On, proving she has what it takes to fill a main stage.
Despite her optimism and strong stage presence, Ms Tunstall could not keep the rain at bay for longer than a few songs. As crowds swayed along to a heartfelt performance of Other Side of the World, the rain gave the crowd a good drenching; resulting in the mass synchronisation of unfolding waterproofs. Although a few revellers couldn't hack the weather, most of the crowd stayed to hear classics such as Miniature Disaster and Black Horse and a Cherry Tree, the later being used as an antidote to the crap weather.
