College denies princess 'romp' story

Marlborough College has denied that Priness Eugenie was involved in a nude romp after a night out in the town.

College Master Nicholas Sampson said this afternoon the stories that the daughter of the Duchess of York and Prince Andrew was seen dancing naked in the college gorunds were "80 per cent inaccurate".

He has refused to divulge exactly what happened in the incident last month but said the princess has not been banned from staying at the college at weekends.

"I am not going to comment on any individual student, no matter who they are," he said. "But this story is very innacurate and I am sure action is going to be taken."

The Sun reported that a senior staff member was woken by shrieks from the lawns and found the princess, along with a dozen other students, dancing naked in the moonlight: "It's the talk of the college,'' the unnamed staff memeber was quoted as saying.

"The girls had been drinking, possibly in a local pub, and decided to let their hair down. For some reason they stripped off and started prancing about.''
