FIRE fighters from Pewsey tackled a fire which broke out at Wiltshire County Council's Household Recycling Centre at Everleigh last night.
The fire and rescue service were called at 7.55pm and one fire engine plus a water carrier, both from Pewsey attended.
The fire was in a general waste container measuring ten metres by two metres.
The fire was put out with one main jet and fire fighters left the scene at 9.20pm.
A fire spokesman said the cause of the fire was thought to be accidental.
The recycling centre is run by Hills Mineral & Waste on behalf of Wiltshire County Council.
