The Duchess of Cornwall is due to present Iraq tour medals to soldiers from the 4th Battalion The Rifles.
The regiment recently returned from six months in the Gulf, during which time it saw some of the fiercest fighting of the Iraq campaign.
Five soldiers from the battalion died during the tour, including Cpl John Rigby from East Sussex, who was fatally wounded on his 24th birthday.
Wiltshire Coroner David Masters said at the hearing: "His twin brother was present at the time he died.
"John was an astonishingly dedicated and charismatic leader."
The Operation Telic 10 medals will be presented at Bulford Camp in Wiltshire on Friday.
The duchess will meet privately with families of soldiers who were injured or killed.
Camilla is Royal Colonel of 4 Rifles, a new battalion - formerly the 2nd Battalion The Royal Green Jackets - which was formed in February.
