A CALNE based indie band entertained punters last Saturday to fundraise for an ongoing project.
Six O'clock Circus performed at The Talbot Inn, Quemerford and raised over £520 on the night towards The Big Yellow Bus Project, which is transforming an old double decker into a place homeless people will be able to sleep safely
The money will help fund the restoration of the bus and help get it ready to hit the road in Swindon and Wiltshire.
Band member John McConnachie, said: "It was a great night and we raised over £520 toward the project to help them carry out essential works.
"The bus is almost complete and Gerry Watkins, who runs the project came along on Saturday and hopes to have it in service next month.
"It is an amazing project run by a brilliant bloke who has almost single-handedly transformed an old double decker into emergency accommodation for around 12 homeless people at any time.
