POLICE are wanting to speak to anyone who may have witnessed a burglary in which a car and motorbike were stolen during a break in at a house in Winterbourne Bassett.

Sometime yesterday (August 9) a red Mini Countryman and an orange KTM SX450 off road motorbike were both stolen from outside the house.

The number plate of the Mini, which also had a camping box on the roof, was WR18 ZZA.

Sgt James Twyford said: "We'd like to hear from anyone who may have heard or saw anything suspicious in this area yesterday, it's a quiet village, so anything or anyone out of the ordinary would have been obvious.

"Also, did you see the car or bike being driven and ridden in the area? Perhaps driven at speed?

"If anyone sees either vehicle please contact us immediately."

Please contact Sgt James Twyford with any information on 101, quoting crime reference number 54180074948, or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
