TEENAGERS finished off their National Citizen Service challenge on a high after putting on a fundraiser in Trowbridge Park for Larkrise Special School.
More than 100 people went along to the park, for four hours of live music, face painting, dancing and activities, which raised £170 for the school.
NCS team leader Eleanor Moor-Bardell said the teenagers had become very good friends during their four weeks together and were delighted to have raised funds for the special school.
“It went really well. They did a really good job of putting it all together,” she said.
“All of them have grown really close. They got together the night before to say their goodbyes as they enjoyed being with each other so much.
“They chose to support Larkrise as it is a cause that is very close to their hearts.”
The 16 and 17-year-olds from Trowbridge and Bradford raised money for the event by taking part in a baked bean challenge the week before.
