CROWDS who gathered for the eagerly anticipated Classic Ibiza concert at Bowood House on Saturday, experienced temperatures normally witnessed on the island itself as they enjoyed a whole host of dance music.

The audience, made up of families and people of all ages enjoyed some of dance music's most iconic tracks performed by the Urban Soul Orchestra, DJ Goldierocks and a range of vocalists.

The concert began quite chilled out, with the crowds enjoying their picnics and danced away as the sun began to set, before things turned up a notch as the grounds of Bowood House turned into an alfresco nightclub.

Lisa Ward, director of Revival Productions, who organised Classic Ibiza, said: "What an incredible evening, we love coming to Bowood.

"What I really like about Classic Ibiza is it really caters for all the family.

"When I looked out at all the smiling faces in the crowd you could see that everyone, whether they were six or 60, was having a fantastic time.

"We've been overwhelmed by the lovely comments that we have received on Facebook and would encourage people to get their tickets for next year's show quickly if they don't want to mos the fun."

Music included Sandstorm by Darude, Rhythm is a Dancer by Snap!, Call on Me by Eric Prydz, Levels by Avicii and Insomnia by Faithless.

Conductor and founder of The Urban Soul Orchestra, Stephen Hussey, added: "What a way to mark our return to Bowood House.

"I think we've really hit the spot with this year's set-list and the weather and all our performers were absolutely incredible.

"The amazing Bowood audience were certainly treated to a taste of Ibiza in more ways than one.

"We are already knocking around a few ideas to make next year's concert even better."
