MUSIC and colour filled the hall at Oare Primary School on Monday and Tuesday as pupils took to the stage to perform Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
Pupils from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 performed to three packed out audiences after weeks of rehearsals.
Pupil Tess Matthews starred as Joseph in the show created in 1968.
Headteacher of Oare School and the show’s musical director, Gudrun Osborn, said: “With it being the 50th anniversary since the launch of Joseph, it only seemed appropriate that we chose this as our production. I am so immensely proud of all of our children.
“We love to stage big shows here at Oare and the scope Joseph presents for primary children to learn to act, sing and dance is fabulous.
“Owl Class created the wonderful backdrops all around the school hall, under the creative eye of Miss Merritt and the energy from our pupils behind bringing this production alive is a wonderful thing to see.”
