A YOUNG lad who lost three family members to cancer wanted to give something back to the charity that helped his family.
Hardenhuish School pupil Adam Elliott had his hair shaved off to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The 14-year-old’s Mum, Lynn, said: “He’s doing this off his own back and I’m very proud.
“He has been wanting to raise money for Macmillan for some time, so he had his hair shaved off.
“He grew his hair especially and I hadn’t seen his eyes for the last few months.
“Macmillan has been a Godsend. It is very precious to us and it is his way of giving something back because they must have spend so much money on the medication and care.
“Macmillan has played a massive part in supporting us.
“It is important to raise awareness and keep those charities funded to help those in need.”
Adam hopes to raise at least £250. To donate, please visit www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Adze0101
