EVERY penny from a single released on Saturday will be donated to the Marlborough Youth and Community Centre after a band recorded the tune for the youth club.
The Vooz has released the CD single, which is available to buy from the Rugby Club on Saturday afternoon, at the song’s official launch.
It will then go on sale from Sound Knowledge, the Youth Centre and Lee Matthews Hair salon run by band member Lee.
Mr Mathews, of The Vooz, said: “We wanted to help in any way that we can because the youth centre is such an important initiative and the work Lisa is doing there is incredible.”
Town mayor Lisa Farrell, who runs the youth centre, said: “It should be a fantastic event and we want as many people to come to the rugby club as possible. The song is really great, and we appreciate what the band has done for the youth centre.”
The band will perform We Need Change on Saturday at the Rugby Club. Young performers will also get the chance to get up on stage during the live show from 4-8pm.
