TWO young players are over the moon after being given £250 vouchers to attend a summer football camp at Corsham AFC being run by the Real Madrid Youth Academy next month.

Ruby Beanland, 10, who plays for Chippenham Town Youth was given the voucher by engineering firm A H Dodd and Co in Box while Levi Ross, 11, a Corsham AFC player, received his from developers Redcliffe Homes, who are building at Park Place in the town.

Chippenham secretary Terry McCosh said: “Ruby started her football experience at an after-school club.

“Ruby’s love for the game helped her through a family death and continues to give her something positive to focus on.

“She was invited to join the Under-10s at Chippenham Town Youth and her affection for the game went through the roof.

“The chance to take part in the Real Madrid camp will provide her with a never-to-forget life experience.”

The week-long camp features coaching by professionals from across Europe.
