INTERIOR designer Hazel Barnes has been named in a power list which highlights young people expected to blaze a trail in coming years.

Miss Barnes, 24, who lives in Devizes and studied for a foundation arts diploma at the Trowbridge campus of Wiltshire College, is on the Power List 2018 of the Catering Insight magazine.

She went on to get a Masters in Interior Architecture and Design at Nottingham Trent University.

She now works for Daventry based company Catering Design Group as a technical designer and got her listing in the Unsung Heroes category. She was singled out for her design skills, her aptitude to learn and her interest in the commercial kitchen and restaurant design sector. Miss Barnes l works on the technical aspects of kitchen and restaurant/servery design within private education, universities and the business and industry sectors.
