Widget the Cockapoo with Town Hall Arts manager Philippa Edwards together on bring your dog to work day
THEY say that dogs are man's best friend. That, perhaps, should be extended to man's best employees as workplaces across the UK welcomed furry recruits for National Bring Your Dog To Work Day on Friday.
At Town Hall Arts in Trowbridge, manager Philippa Edwards brought her cockapoo dog, Widget, to work. Instantly, she was the centre of attention.
"People come in specifically to see Widget. Everyone is just cooing over her. It is great to have her with us in the workplace," said Philippa.
