EXPENSIVE hair products have been stolen from Goldsworthy’s salon in Marlborough during a night time break in at the shop.

The salon, in Hughenden Yard was broken into in the early hours of the moring on June 18 and GHD straighteners, hairdryers and styling tongs were taken. The 10 stolen items were worth £935.

Morgan Bisley, from the salon said: “It was a bit of a shock but we are quite thankful that non of our won equipment was taken. It is disappointing because we have not long had the big refurbishment, that was only last August.

“However it is business as usual for us as the police look into a few CCTV images and hopefully find something.”

Detective Constable Cerys Powell said: “Crime Scene Investigators attended the scene yesterday morning following the report and we are continuing with our enquiries today. We would like to appeal to members of the public who may have seen or heard any suspicious activity in the area early yesterday morning to please get in touch as any information could be significant.
