SITCOM stars flooded Lacock village over the weekend as creative ideas came to life at the Lacock scarecrow trail.
Visitors have until June 8 to hand in their answer sheets to identify 50 faces on the trail.
Emily Parry, secretary of Friends of Lacock School, said: “It is fantastic to see the community get involved. Parents and staff all volunteered their time and then the Beavers were using the hall to sell bacon rolls and the church made cakes.
“It was a really nice way to get ready for summer after the children have finished all their SATs.
“As well as the adults trail there was a children’s trail with pictures drawn by year two and three children, printed and put up in a trail around the village. They had the theme red white and blue and was very successful too.”
The money raised by selling nearly 3,500 trail leaflets will go towards a new cooker and kitchen equipment to give the children the chance to carry out cooking activities.
