FESTIVITIES are underway as the popular Chippenham Folk Festival has begun its four-day-long action packed weekend.
Today, pupils from local primary schools including Kington St Michael and Monkton Park took part in a series of creative dance workshops, and the festival will officially kick of tonight with live music and dance sessions at various venues throughout the town.
Hundreds of performances and workshops are on offer over the next few days along with parades, both free and ticketed.
Tickets can be purchased at the Box Office in Island Park.
