POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 77-year-old male cyclist died after a road traffic accident with a van at Bell Hill in Seend.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, following the collision with a grey Vauxhall Combo van. The occupants of the van were uninjured.
The accident happened at 2.34pm on Monday on an unclassified road in Seend near the junction with the A361 High Street.
The accident closed the road between Seend and Worton while police investigated.
Police are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with any information should contact PC 2767 Cox at Wiltshire Police Triforce Operations in Devizes on 101.
