Seend Fawlty Players held their 39th village pantomime which this year was Robin Hood and his Merry Men and Women to raise money for Wiltshire Young Carers and Music for the Mind.

Tessa Doe, who played the part of one of Robin's twin aunts, writes: "You’d think that after 39 years a village pantomime group would be running out of ideas, but not Seend Fawlty Players.

"From a Donald Trump-style wall story, to the villains getting their comeuppance by being tied up in a Maypole dance there were many novel twists to this show.

"The Fawlties always play things for laughs, and there were plenty of laugh-out-loud moments in this show with the trio of the wicked witch (John Jameson-Davies), the Sheriff of Nottingham (Pete Wallis) and his sidekick Sir Guy of Gisborne (Andy Nutland) sharing both the booing and the laughter."

The script was written by Anita Shea and Tessa Doe and the show directed by Anita Shea.
