A CHURCH fundraising group has handed out cheques to good causes that help people across Wiltshire after raising thousands of pounds at an annual festival.
Omnes Ad Unum from St John's Church, Devizes decided to support a wide range of organisations that help children and young people.
Representatives from Canons Hose, Devizes Opportunity Centre, 3rd Devizes Scouts, the Guiding Association, Wiltshire Young Carers, Wiltshire Sight's Zoom Club, Caen Hill Countryside Centre, Rowdeford School, Julia's House and Bradbury Manor were all St John's Church for the presentation of money raised at a Christmas bazaar and tree festival.
Prizes were also handed out to the winners of the Christmas Tree decorating competition. These went to Five Lanes Primary, Rowde Academy, Devizes Flower Guild and St Andrew's Church.
The rector Canon Paul Richardson thanked everyone for their support and said how impressed MP Claire Perry had been with the standard of the tree decoration when she did the judging.
