Passenger appeal after assault on X5 bus
OFFICERS investigating an assault on a bus want to speak to a passenger who may have seen the incident.
The alleged assault took place on the X5 Salisbury Reds Bus travelling from Swindon and Pewsey at 2.45pm on March 7. An Asian woman was assaulted by a man on the bus while it was stationary at Swindon Bus Station. A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and released on conditional bail pending further enquiries. Police want to speak to a passenger described as a white man with dark curly hair wearing a blue jacket, who got off the bus in Marlborough. Call 101 quoting incident number 54180020858.
