JOOLS HOLLAND and His Rhythm and Blues Orchestra and Katherine Jenkins are to headline a brand new festival at Bowood House this summer.

The new festival, A Boundless Summer, will bring world-class acts to the spectacular historical setting on July 21 and 22.

Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra featuring Gilson Lavis will headline on Saturday, July 21, with special guest Chris Difford and guest vocalists Ruby Turner, Louise Marshall and Rosie Mae.

On Sunday, July 22, guests will be treated to Boundless Summer Proms, with Katherine Jenkins and The National Symphony Orchestra, and special guest John Owen-Jones, and conductor Anthony Inglis.

Guests are allowed to bring their own picnics and alcohol to the concerts, and there will be a range of catering and refreshments available to buy on-site, including picnic hampers. Festival-goers can also bring their own camping chairs and picnic blankets.

Carl Fillery, CEO of Boundless, who has organised the event, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be hosting our first ever summer festival, A Boundless Summer, at Borde Hill Garden and Bowood House. The range of world-class acts on offer means there really is something for everybody. We’re a club dedicated to helping people get the most from their free time, so we’re delighted to be able to offer members of the public a chance to experience a Boundless event."

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9am and prices start at £30. More information can be found at www.boundlesssummer.co.uk.
