RESIDENTS of Malmesbury are being invited to join Churchill Retirement Living for a special warming morning to raise funds for Friends of Malmesbury Abbey
Churchill Retirement Living is calling for locals to step into the warmth of the William Lodge development on Gloucester Road at 10:30am on Tuesday, February 27, where, in return for a small donation, they will be treated to coffee and cake.
All of the funds raised will go towards the Friends of Malmesbury Abbey charity, which aims to promote the restoration, upkeep and improvement of the Abbey and its contents for its visitors.
Caroline Haswell, Regional Marketing Manager for Churchill Retirement Living, said: “We’re delighted to be holding our Warming Morning event to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause to help it continue its vital work in the local community.
"Every penny counts, which is why we’re asking as many people as possible to come along and support our event by digging deep. It’s the perfect excuse to enjoy a bit of indulgence, as well as an ideal opportunity for visitors to experience the lifestyle on offer at the Lodge.”
William Lodge is a stylish collection of privately owned retirement apartments for the over 60s, each designed exclusively for those in their retirement years, with a number of safety and security features.
