A SPECIALIST valuation day is being held in Malmesbury later this month, where old collectables can be valued.

Lockdales Auctioneers, one of the UK’s leading specialist auction houses, is hosting the event at the Old Bell Hotel on Abbey Row on Tuesday, February 27 from 11.30am to 3.30pm.

Collectables including coins, stamps, banknotes, clocks, watches, silver, gold, documents, pre-1900 books & maps, medals can be valued, as well as cigarette-cards, postcards, pre-1960 sports programmes and tickets. Militaria including swords , bayonets and de-activated weapons, are all welcome to be valued free of charge by Lockdales, without any obligation to sell.

Members of the public have the option to give permission for their goods to be sold in a future public auction, or can request a cash offer from Lockdales themselves.
