YOUNG musicians and singers who staged a concert to raise money for a trike for a young boy with a rare genetic disorder have raised £460.
Mum Konnie Newmark was delighted with the generosity of people who turned out for the concert organised by Liz Sharman at Lavington Community Hall to raise money for her son Jail, nine.
She said: " It was an amazing evening with some wonderful performances. Liz did a fantastic job creating a wonderful atmosphere. Unfortunately Jai had to be taken home before the evening began as he became upset with stomach issues.
"He would have loved the evening as he always responds to music. I filmed it all and he enjoyed the playback."
Mrs Newmark has also received £250 from Devizes Round Table which takes the fund to buy Jai a trike to more than £4,000 so the family, who live near Market Lavington, is now more than half way towards the target.
Jai suffers from FoxG1 Syndrome which causes development and mobility problems.
