THE back doors of a house were smashed in and a set of car keys taken by burglars last week.
A house in Holmeigh, in Haydonleigh, was broken into between 8pm on Wednesday, January 10 and 9.20am on Saturday, January 13 while the homeowners were away.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “If you live in the area and saw or heard anything suspicious between these times and dates please contact PC Keith Larkworthy, at Gablecross police station on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously if preferred.”
Police believe that every room in the house was searched by the thieves, but the only thing they escaped with was a set of car keys.
Residents are advised to be vigilant.
