TWO stalwarts of a Devizes keep fit club with a difference are raising money for Wiltshire Air Ambulance by going dry in January.

Catherine Drage and Debbie Beavan who are members of the It's Never Too Late To Feel Great club have set up justgiving pages in a bid to raise £500 for the life-saving helicopter charity.

Ms Drage said: "We are giving up alcohol in January for Wiltshire Air Ambulance Charitable Trust because it is imperative that we keep this running.

"We have decided to give up all alcohol, mainly in the usual form of red vino for me as all my family and friends know. Many people do a dry January to detox themselves, but we would prefer to do our detox for the benefit of this great charity whilst obviously also gaining the health benefits for ourselves.

"Those who know me well will also understand that this is going to be a very hard challenge so please give whatever you can to make my suffering worthwhile whilst raising much needed funds for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance."

The fitness club is aimed at having fun as well as toning bodies and losing weight and raises money throughout the year for a number of good causes.
