DINERS can contribute to a good cause this January as part of Marlborough based restaurant Rick Stein’s charity lunch scheme.
The price of the three course charity menu will include a £2.50 donation to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
The fundraising project will run in the restaurant until January 20, when the grand total raised will be donated to the helicopter emergency medical service which attends on average three people a day.
Diners can choose between grilled Cornish hake, a duck confit and mackerel.
Stephane Malbranche, general manager at Rick Stein, on Marlborough High Street said: “The Wiltshire Air Ambulance rely almost entirely on public donations to keep them flying so we’re really pleased to be supporting them as part of our charity lunches this year.”
Rick Stein has written over 20 cookery books and made over 30 cookery programmes. He has also cooked for The Queen and Prince Philip,.
