THE CARE home group which owns Savernake View Care Home in Marlborough has been sold to new investors.
John Storey, founder and CEO of Porthaven Care Homes, which runs 14 care homes, had been backed by Phoenix Equity Partners since 2011.
The sale to American investor Fremont was announced by the group's head office in Windsor.
The every day running of the Savernake View care home will continue despite the change to investors and Mr Storey said: “I would like to thank Phoenix for all their support over the last six years.
"They understood the need to ensure the Porthaven ethos of delivering outstanding care and services to our residents remained at the heart of the business from the outset."
