WORKSHOPS for people who want to make lanterns to carry in a parade in Devizes on November 24 can join in the fun at venues in the town and Bishops Cannings.
Devizes Outdoor Celebratory Arts is holding the workshops at the Crown Centre on November 14 and 21 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, Wiltshire Museum on November 19 from 1pm to 5pm, Hillworth Park Cafe on November 13 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and at Bishops Cannings School on November 18 and 19 from 1pm to 4pm.
All materials will be provided but organisers ask for a £3 donation towards costs. People of all ages will be welcome. Entertainment on November 24 begins at 5pm and the parade will start at 6.15pm The switch-on will be at 6.45pm.
