Wiltshire Police are now warning people to be on guard
VANDALS smashed their way into a house in Walcot last week.
The break-in happened at around 9am on Tuesday, October 3 in Bilborough Drive.
The offenders smashed the sliding doors at the back of the property and stole a large quantity of cash.
PC Bryan Rumbold said: “Whilst the offender broke in through the back of the property where they were out of view, their actions would have been heard by people in the local area. It was also broad daylight when the incident occurred.
“We would like to speak to anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious in the area at this time.”
