Giffords Circus is coming to town this Thursday as it returns to Marlborough with its individual style of slapstick comedy and adventure.

The village green travelling circus will set up on the common from August 24 – September 4 for the troupe’s 17th summer of live performances.

This year the show is set in the 17th century Spanish Courts and features flamenco dancers, hilarious acrobats and a high energy Cuban acrobatic troupe.

Throughout the frivolities the Giffords band will play live music throughout the show.

Praising the show online, fan Cathy H, said: “We gasped and laughed until we cried. #anyportinastorm is just genius! We loved it, best ever-our annual tradition-thank you.”

Tickets are available from http://www.giffordscircus.com/

Tickets begin at £15 for adults and £10 for children for the “Any Port in a Storm” show.

The team have already performed in Oxford and London during their tour that began in May and runs until their last performance in Stroud in September 24.
