Hounds and bike riders joined forces at the annual Tour de Beaufort Bike Ride in Badminton, 10 miles north of Chippenham. Cyclists of all ages joined the tour around the lake in Badminton Park as 65 people flocked to take part in the fun event. Back at the kennels participants then enjoyed a cooked breakfast by the Ainger family and the hounds cooled off in the lake.
Jo Aldridge, who organised the event, said: “It was madness to watch, everybody was having so much fun. It is something we love to do and hope to run for many years to come.” The annual family friendly bike ride on August 5 has been running since 2001 as part of the kennel’s summer of events with the hounds.
