CREATIVE Tamsin Yates was looking for a change in career when friends asked her to design her wedding stationery and she has not looked back since.

Miss Yates, 25, who lives in Calne and runs her business Bespoke Signs & Stationery By Tamsin Yates, which she launched last year, from a studio at her home studied public relations at Bournemouth University and later worked in marketing for a hotel chain in Reading but realised she wanted to doe something more creative.

She said: " I did not enjoy the job or future career path so quit and started searching for a creative role. There were not many opportunities on the market, so after friends asked me to design their wedding invitations I researched the market and found there was no one providing modern stationery in the Wiltshire area and launched my own business.

"My firm is a boutique wedding stationery company, offering personalised stationery that is modern and stylish with a distinct floral style.

"We love working on bespoke projects and enjoy working closely with couples to incorporate their choice of wedding flowers and colours to create something truly unique.

"We also offer a range of mirrors and chalkboards for hire, which are used by couples as seating plans or welcome signs. The studio personally delivers and can set up the items at your venue across the South West including Bath, Berkshire, Bristol, The Cotswolds, Hampshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Somerset and Wiltshire."

She said that over the past year the company has gone from strength to strength.

She was born in Cornwall but spent her school years split between homes in the Middle East, Asia and Wiltshire but is now firmly settled in Wiltshire and has just bought her first home in Calne with her partner. She is a former pupil of Great Bedwyn primary and St John's School, Marlborough.
