A YOUNG man was left with two broken front teeth and other facial injuries after he was attacked as he walked home down London Road, Devizes during the early hours of Sunday.

Police believe two men followed the victim from the Market Place at about 2am before he was attacked on a dark pathway by one of the men. Police put pictures of two young men on social media yesterday and asked the public to help identify them.

They later said they had received information to identify them and were investigating.

A police spokesman said: "The victim suffered facial injuries, including two front teeth being snapped in half."

Police said the two men were seen in the Market Place talking to someone in a Nissan Micra and expected there would be DNA of the assailant on the t-shirt of the victim.
