STUDLEY Green Primary rounded off a year of successful events in style with its annual summer fair which raised more than £1,300.

Hundreds headed to the event at the fundraiser for the Trowbridge school, for a day of stalls, music, dancing, games and much more.

This was the last event of the school year that the Friends of Studley Green will put on and headteacher Sarah Garbutt praised the parent association for organising another great event.

"It was a wonderful occasion, there was a terrific atmosphere and we raised a good amount for the school once again," she said.

"There was a wide range of great things to do, such as a tombola, a bouncy castle and Active Trowbridge kindly came down to provide some great sporting activities.

"On top of that people had a good mix of stalls to look at and the dancing and singing by school pupils was a great addition too.

"The Friends of Studley Green are such a great group and they do so many wonderful things for the school, delivering time and time again. This was a great way to round off another school year and for that we are very grateful."

It has been a busy end to the term as the school has also had a sports day and an art exhibition is taking place later this week.
