A PERFORMING arts school in Trowbridge will have the honour of performing at Disneyland Paris next month.

Stagecoach Trowbridge, a performing arts school for young people run on Saturdays at Clarendon Academy, will send 16 of its students, aged eight to 18, to sing and dance in front of thousands of international visitors from July 20-24.

They will dance in the pre-parade through the park, sing in front of the Cinderella castle and they will also get to perform their own 15-minute dance and song routines on one of the Main Disney stages with seating for up to a thousand people.

Principal Freddie Underwood says: "Performing at Disneyland Paris is truly such an honour and an incredible achievement for our students. The memories that they will create from the trip will stay with them forever. I cannot wait to see them perform.

"This will be the third time that Stagecoach Trowbridge have successfully auditioned for Disneyland Paris and it is testament to the talent and hard work of the students who have worked since September last year to pass the auditions and rehearse for the event."

Stagecoach Trowbridge are also performing at the Civic Centre in Trowbridge this Saturday in a talent variety show.
