IN North Wiltshire we seem to be back in the road ahead closed season.
We seem to have some roadworks diversions sending motorists on some very lengthy diversions.
For example, at the present roadworks between Malmesbury and Corston the diversion is 33 miles!
Why do the signs not say where the road is closed?
Is it in one or two or six miles?
Without this information how do motorists seeking local villages know if they have to follow a lengthy diversion or if they can use local roads?
