BURBAGE & Easton Royal and Goatacre will meet in the Dorset & Wilts group final of the National Village Cup after victories in Sunday's last-four clashes.

Two-time champions Goatacre secured a 100-run victory at Salisbury outfit Redlynch & Hale, while Burbage saw off Wiltshire League side Lacock to book their place in the county showpiece.

Goatacre, the 1988 and 1990 champions, were put into bat at Redlynch, amassing 244-7 in their 40 overs.

The backbone of the innings was provided by a 128-run second-wicket partnership between Lachlan Beggs and Jack Haines.

Beggs notched a century in 123 balls, while Haines added 87 off just 47 balls, featuring 10 fours and five sixes, with two wickets each for Hale's Kevin Hopkins and Russ Church.

The visitors soon made inroads into the Redlynch innings, Haines claiming 4-11 from just five overs as they were skittled out for 138.

Wicketkeeper James Benson top scored with 41 from 39 deliveries but Toby Iles took 3-3 in just 10 balls towards the end of the innings to ensure Goatacre's progress.

Goatacre will travel to take on WEPL Premier Two Glos/Wilts rivals Burbage on June 11 after they came through their group semi final against Wiltshire League side Lacock by 18 runs.
